Kaizen Environmental Services Guyana Inc. is seeking to hire a Senior Laboratory Analyst to join our team.
 
 
Job Purpose:
To manage, coordinate and provide quality testing in the Inorganics Laboratory (Wet Chemistry, Microbiology and Toxicity).
                                        
Requirements:

• University degree in Analytical or Organic Chemistry or the field of Natural Sciences or equivalent.
• At least five (5) years laboratory experience.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to evaluate priorities and multi-task.
• Ability to work independently.
• Excellent oral and written skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Any other relevant combination of education, experience and training would be considered in related field.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for performing all assigned analytical tests under the Inorganics Lab, glassware, reagent and inventory management

 

• Directly responsible for managing and coordinating daily testing schedules in order to meet quality and timeline objectives

 

• Responsible for the proper use, care, troubleshooting and maintenance of all equipment housed in Inorganics (Wet Chemistry, Microbiology and Toxicity Labs) and providing supervision to junior staff
