Base Manager
Description:Base Manager is responsible for managing and reviewing the delivery of all logistics services required by an onshore Supply Base to provide the most efficient service to clients.
Objectives:
- Working closely with Operations Manager to ensure effectiveness of all supply base operations
- Ensure excellent operational delivery and highest service of standards to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the execution of supply base operations, and associated interfaces including road transport and port services.
- Ensure the outputs of supply base operations are in line with set strategy and regulations.
- Ensure full compliance with QHSSE Standards & Procedures
- Manpower Management to ensure availability at peak periods on Supply Base
- Provide general supervision and direction to various sub-groups in carrying out their daily activities in the most effective manner and objectives are met always.
- Coordinate and work closely with relevant functional groups both internal and external to optimize Logistics and Shore Base efficiency and reliability in supporting clients.
- Management of Logistics Services
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills:
- Degree in Oil & Gas, Engineering, Commerce, Supply Chain/Logistics Management or equivalent field.
- At least 10 (ten) years’ experience in offshore or onshore petrochemical industry or equivalent field.
- Excellent experience in contract administration
- Demonstrated knowledge of logistics scheduling and planning
- Demonstrated knowledge of QHSSE Standards & Procedures
- Good communication and presentation skills in English
- Excellent people management skills
- Able to build relationship with the client
- Excellent Communication skills
- Must be organized and logical, and willing to adapt to change in policies/procedures
- Time management skills
- Attention to details and able to analyze data.
- Goal oriented and results driven
- Results driven
- Self-motivated
