Description
Included among the responsibilities of the role are:
- Continually reviews the market locally and regionally for export opportunities.
- Prepares documentation for export sales in an accountable manner.
- Conducts negotiations to obtain export sales locally and regionally as needed.
- Conducts site visits to customers to assess their needs and product requirements and respond in a timely fashion to their requests in accordance to PriceSmart’s standards.
- Provides feedback on export sales potential on a consistent basis.
Desired Background/Skills:
- Diploma in Business Administration. University degree preferred.
- At least three (3) years’ experience in similar positions, preferably in a retail environment.
- Experience in product sales and negotiations required.
- Knowledge of Windows and AS400 operating systems.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Solid sales experience.
- Strong selling expertise in oil and gas as well as manufacturing sectors will be an asset.
